The Demoscene is an international computer art subculture focused on producing so-called demos: self-contained, sometimes extremely small, computer programs that display audiovisual content. The purpose of a demo is to show off programming, visual art, and musical skills.

Demoparties are physical social events, usually over a weekend, focused on presenting new demoscene content. They typically feature competitions of several categories, seminars about relevant demoscene topics and live performances of music and visuals.

Organized by people actively involved in the demoscene for over 20 years, the 2023 edition of Inércia Demoparty is taking place 1-3 December and returning to the city of Almada to be hosted at the legendary Salão de Festas Incrivel Almadense.

Please join us in person or submit your entries remotely using the party system!

Entrance fee is €13.37 paid at the door. Free entrance for Associação Inércia and SFIA associates.
